Whether you are decorating for the holidays or planning a special party; what starts out as fun can become very over whelming very quickly.

While I'm surfing the internet for ideas my head starts spinning with ideas. The only way I know how to cope with all the "dizziness" is to grab a piece of paper and a pencil and start sketching my lay out.

Trust me, I am the world's worst sketcher; but it only needs to make sense to me, so I just go to town. Sure enough days later I am still referring to this pathetic little drawing, that could make my nieces die of laughter. Yes the stress is still there and the grey hair is multiplying, but all I can think about are all the final touches. To me the best parts of all the planning are all the little final touches.

My latest endeavor was to plan a baby shower with my stepmother, Nancy, for my sister in law Anna. The party is this weekend so there will be pictures and details of all the diy decor and give aways we are doing.
